Kartik Aaryan is set to take on a new role in the film industry as a producer with the launch of his banner, Dopamine Studios. His first production venture will see him reunite with acclaimed filmmaker Kabir Khan, following their collaboration on Chandu Champion.
A source close to the development said, “Kartik connected with the story on a very deep level from the moment he heard it. He was moved by the courage, passion and conviction at the heart of the real-life journey and felt it was a story that deserved to reach a wider audience. His decision to step into production stemmed from that belief and his desire to support the film on a deeper creative level.”
Kartik has undergone kickboxing training for his role in the film. Production is currently underway, with portions being shot across Mumbai and Kashmir.
The collaboration with Kabir Khan comes after Chandu Champion, in which Kartik’s performance earned him the Best Actor honour at the 72nd National Film Awards. With Dopamine Studios, the actor is now expanding his role in the industry, combining his acting career with a new creative venture in film production.
