In an exciting new turn for Bollywood cinema, the versatile Kartik Aaryan is set to step into the shoes of an Ichhadhaari Naag in the upcoming film Naagzilla. On April 22, Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and shared the motion poster of the film, Naagzilla. The post was captioned, “Insanon wali picharein toh bahut dekh li, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar!#Naagzilla – Naag lok ka pehla kaand…Funnn phailaane aa raha hai – Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand… “Naag Panchami par aapke nazdeeki Sssssinemas mein – 14 August 2026 ko!”
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, best known for his work on Fukrey, Naagzilla takes a bold leap into the fantasy genre, where Kartik Aaryan will play the role of an Ichhadhaari Naag— a shape-shifting serpent with the ability to transform into a human. This unique portrayal adds an element of mystery and intrigue to the narrative, which is expected to bring a lot of excitement to the big screen.
