Actor Kartik Aaryan and Filmmaker Anurag Basu have teamed up for the highly awaited sequel Aashiqui 3. The Aashiqui film series has garnered widespread acclaim for its intense romantic storylines and unforgettable music scores, making Aashiqui 3 a highly anticipated addition to the franchise.
According to a report by India Today, Kartik Aaryan and Anurag Basu’s film Aashiqui 3 will go on floors in January 2024. Producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed the same and told the portal, “Hopefully, we will start Anurag Basu and Kartik Aaryan’s film by the end of January.” He also added that the music compositions are in the works and the pre-production work of the film has also started.
The makers have finalised the leading lady of the film too. Reportedly, Akanksha Sharma is likely to be finalised for the film. “Akanksha has had multiple meetings with the makers of the film and there is a possibility that things might get locked,” a source cited by E-Times claimed.
Akanksha Sharma has predominantly worked in the Kannada industry. She also shared the screen space with Tiger Shroff earlier for the music video ‘Disco 82’.
Katik Aaryan is currently busy shooting for Kabir Khan’s directorial Chandu Champion. Recently, he returned to Mumbai after shooting for the first schedule in London. Aaryan is also a part of Hansal Mehta’s Captain India.
