In the highly-anticipated film of 2024, Kalki 2898 AD, director Nag Ashwin recently shared insights about working with the legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas. The film has generated widespread excitement, with fans eagerly anticipating its release across the nation.
During a panel discussion at Asia’s Largest Science and Technology Festival at IIT Bombay, Nag Ashwin was warmly welcomed, and the audience was keen to know about his experience collaborating with such mega-superstars. In response, the director expressed, “All the actors in the film are incredibly humble, which makes a director’s job remarkably easy.”
Delving into the challenges of creating a VFX-heavy film in India, Nag Ashwin acknowledged the difficulties but also conveyed optimism about the progress. He stated, “Crafting a VFX-intensive film in India is undeniably challenging. However, we are witnessing improvements, and we are very close to achieving our vision.”
For those unversed with the project, the team of Kalki 2898 AD made a grand appearance at Comic Con USA earlier this year. The star-studded event featured Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Nag Ashwin, and producers Ashwini Dutt along with Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt.
The film is scheduled for a pan-India release in 2024.
