Kalki 2898 AD box office collection day 8: After rounding off its extended opening week in India across India at Rs 414.25 crore at the box office, Prabahs’ epic sci-fi Kalki 2898 AD continues its unstoppable run on its second Thursday.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi Version) did a massive business of Rs 112.15 crores in the 4-day extended opening weekend with Rs 22.50 crores on Thursday, Rs 23.25 crores on Friday, Rs 26.25 crores on Saturday, and Rs 40.15 crores on Sunday.
It has managed to remain super-solid on weekdays as well and minted an amount of Rs 16.50 crores on Monday. With further drops, it garnered a business of Rs 13 crores on Tuesday, and Rs 11.50 crores on Wednesday. On its 2nd Thursday, Kalki 2898 Ad managed to collect Rs 10.10 crores and has registered a total of Rs 163.25 crores in the 8-day extended first week from Hindi screens.
Kalki 2898 AD ended its opening week in India with Rs 414.25 crore, out of which the Hindi collection stands at Rs 163.25 crore and the South (Telugu + Tamil + Malayalam + Kannada) collection totals up to Rs 251 crore. Besides the extraordinary domestic box office collection, Kalki 2898 AD has already crossed Rs 700+ crore worldwide.
Besides Prabhas, the film features Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in key roles. It also has cameos by Vijay Devarakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Anna Ben.
