Kalki 2898 AD box office collection day 6: Prabhas’ film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ (Hindi version) is set to surpass Rs 150 crore mark in India on Day 7 of its release. The film was released in theatres on June 27 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD did the business of Rs 112.15 crores with Rs 22.50 crores on Thursday, Rs 23.25 crores on Friday, Rs 26.25 crores on Saturday, and Rs 40.15 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays as well, Vyjayanthi Movies’ production has a strong pace and had minted the amount of Rs 16.50 crores on Monday after a significant drop. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it remains super-strong and scored Rs 13 crores. After 6 days, the total collection of the film has become Rs 141.65 crores nett.
The film focuses on Bhairava, a bounty hunter who aims to make a life in the Complex, ruled by Supreme Yaskin. Bhairava’s plans are, however, interrupted due to Ashwatthama.
Besides Prabhas, the film features Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in key roles. It also has cameos by Vijay Devarakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Anna Ben.
