Renowned Bollywood actress Kajol recently paid a spiritual visit to the sacred Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Kolkata, seeking blessings from Maa Kali ahead of her much-anticipated film Maa. Known for her powerful screen presence and deeply emotive performances, Kajol has always maintained a personal and spiritual connection with Maa Kali, often speaking about how the divine energy of the goddess inspires and strengthens her both personally and professionally.
Dressed in a traditional saree with minimal makeup and a calm demeanor, Kajol offered prayers at the revered temple, lighting incense and spending quiet moments in devotion. The actress later shared her experience with fans and media, emphasizing the significance of the visit.
She shared a strong statement for her next release Maa. Kajol said, “This is my strongest roles ever”.
Maa is jointly produced by Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Jyoti Deshpande. The screenplay is developed by Saiwyn Quadras. The film is produced under the banner of Jio Studios and presented by Devgn Films.
She will also star alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the thriller Sarzameen.
