Bollywood actress Kajol has revealed a powerful new look for her upcoming film Maa, showcasing her transformation into a fierce warrior. The dramatic poster features a stormy backdrop with lightning illuminating a confrontation between Kajol and a monstrous figure with glowing red eyes and charred skin.
Sharing the poster on social media, Kajol captioned the post: “Rakshak. Bhakshak. MAA. The protector. The destroyer. Trailer drops in 4 days.”
Directed by Vishal Furia, known for Chhorii and Chhorii 2, Maa is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. The film reportedly stars Indraneil Sengupta, Ronit Roy, and Jitin Gulati. Maa is set for a theatrical release on 27 June 2025.
Kajol previously hinted that Maa is part of an expanding universe connected to her husband’s film Shaitaan. The story centers on a mother’s relentless efforts to protect her daughter from evil forces.
Kajol also has another project, Maharagni: Queen of Queens, an action thriller directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati. The film marks her reunion with Prabhu Deva after nearly three decades and features a revenge-driven narrative centered on a mother-daughter duo.
