The highly-appreciated Kabir Singh is showing an exceptional trend at the box office and not ready to slow down even in its third week despite having the two new much-anticipated Hindi offerings.
Kabir Singh got succeed to impress almost everyone and gathered a solid word of mouth. As a result, it remained super-strong throughout the opening week and did the business of 134.42 crores which included 70.83 crores in the weekend and 63.59 crores on weekdays.
Then in the second week as well, remake of Telugu smash hit Arjun Reddy has maintained a strong pace and bagged the amount of 78.78 crores with 47.15 crores in the weekend and 31.63 crores on weekdays. After the 2 weeks, its total collection was recorded at 213.20 crores.
After collecting a massive total in the last two weeks, Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Arjan Bajwa and others starrer Kabir Singh has registered the excellent business of 22.52 crores in the third weekend which included 5.40 crores on Friday, 7.51 crores on Saturday & 9.61 crores on Sunday.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the Hindi romantic drama is now running on weekdays once again and still has enough hold over the audience. On 3rd Monday, with a drop of only 21.30%, the film minted 4.25 crores. On the next day i.e. 3rd Tuesday, it managed to rake 3.20 crores and raised 19 days total domestic collection to 243.17 crores.
Also, Kabir Singh emerges the 10th highest grossing Hindi film after Baahubali2 [Hindi], Dangal, Sanju, PK, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Padmaavat, Sultan, and Dhoom 3. While Kabir Singh is all set to surpass the lifetime biz of Uri: The Surgical Strike today.
