In a major development, Ek Din, the long-awaited project from Aamir Khan Productions, is quietly being readied for a theatrical release on November 7, 2025. While an official announcement is still under wraps, trusted sources confirm that the emotional drama starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan has locked its release date.
While the makers are yet to make an official announcement, trade and film analyst Taran Adarsh reported that it will be released later this year.
He wrote, “#Xclusiv… AAMIR KHAN – MANSOOR KHAN REUNITE: SAI PALLAVI – JUNAID KHAN STARRER ‘EK DIN’ TO RELEASE ON 7 NOV 2025… #EkDin – which marks the first-ever on-screen pairing of #SaiPallavi and #JunaidKhan – is set for a theatrical release on 7 Nov 2025. Directed by #SunilPandey and produced by #AamirKhan and #MansoorKhan, the film marks a special reunion, as #Aamir and #Mansoor collaborate after 17 years, after the much-loved #JaaneTuYaJaaneNa.”
It is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan. The film marks the reunion of Mansoor Khan and Aamir as they collaborated after 17 long years. The cousins last collaborated on Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which starred Aamir’s nephew Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza among others.
The film was initially set for a Valentine’s Day 2025 release but was postponed after Junaid’s Bollywood debut film Loveyapa. Also starring Khushi Kapoor, the film was released on February 7 and received mixed to negative responses at the box office.
