The wait for War 2 just got more exciting as Telugu superstar Jr NTR has officially completed filming his portions for the high-octane YRF spy thriller. Marking a significant milestone in one of the most anticipated films of the year, Jr NTR took to social media to share his emotions and hint at a major surprise for fans.
Jr NTR wrote in his Instagram story, “And It’s a wrap for #War2! So much to take back from this one…It’s always a blast being on set with @hrithikroshan Sir. @ayanmukerji has been amazing. He has truly set the stage for a big surprise package for the audience. A big thanks to the entire @yrf team and all our crew for the love and effort. Can’t wait for all of you to experience this high on August 14th!”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji (Brahmastra, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), War 2 is the next installment in the expanding YRF Spy Universe, following hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.
The film pits Hrithik’s iconic spy Kabir against NTR’s mysterious new character, setting up a clash that is being teased as “the most epic face-off in Indian cinema.” Entering YRF’s spy universe, NTR will be seen alongside Hrithik and Kiara Advani. The film’s posters have already created a huge buzz.
Produced by YRF’s War 2 is set to release worldwide on 14th August 2025.
