Jawan box office collection day 8: Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan continues to win hearts and the box office too. The Red Chillies Entertainment film, that has been directed by Atlee released on September 7, has emerged as the biggest opener of Hindi cinema till date.
Jawan opened on an incredible note and did a massive business of Rs 252.08 crores in the 4-day extended opening weekend with Rs 65.50 crores on Thursday, Rs 46.23 crores on Friday, Rs 68.72 crores on Saturday, and Rs 71.63 crores on Sunday.
After a phenomenal weekend, the action-drama has managed to remain solid on weekdays as well and minted an amount of Rs 30.50 crores on Monday. With further drops, it garnered a business of Rs 24 crores on Tuesday, and Rs 21.30 crores on Wednesday. On its 2nd Thursday, Jawan managed to collect Rs 20.10 crores and has registered a total of Rs 347.98 crores in the 8-day extended first week from Hindi screens.
While from Tamil and Telugu versions has earned Rs 9.50 crores on Thursday, Rs 7 crores on Friday, Rs 9.11 crores on Saturday, Rs 8.47 crores on Sunday, Rs 2.42 crores on Monday, Rs 2.52 crores on Tuesday, Rs 2.53 crores and Rs 1.80 crores on 2nd Thursday. With this, its 8 days total collection of the dubs to Rs 43.35 crores nett.
