Jawan box office collection day 22: Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has performed phenomenally well at the box office. Combined, Jawan and Pathaan have grossed over Rs 2000 crore globally, making SRK the only Bollywood star to deliver two $100 million-plus grossers in one year.
In the last two weeks, Atlee’s directorial had raked the business of Rs 473.44 crores with Rs 347.98 crores in the first week and Rs 125.46 crores in the second week. In the third weekend as well, it had remained strong and scored Rs 32.50 crores that included Rs 7.10 crores on Friday, Rs 11.50 crores on Saturday & Rs 13.90 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, despite normal working days, Red Chillies Entertainment’s production remained steady and bagged the amount of Rs 4.90 crores on 3rd Monday, Rs 4.40 crores on 3rd Tuesday & Rs 4.45 crores on 3rd Wednesday. On the next day i.e. 4th Thursday, it minted Rs 5.81 crores (Eid Holiday) and raised 3 weeks total collection to Rs 525.50 crores nett from Hindi version.
While from Tamil and Telugu versions has earned Rs 43.35 crores in the first week and Rs 11.60 crores in the second week and Rs 2.28 crores in the third weekend including Rs 0.51 crores on its 3rd Friday, Rs 0.75 crores on 3rd Saturday and Rs 1.05 crores on Sunday.
With an acceptable drop in footfalls, the film minted the amount of Rs 0.55 crores on 3rd Monday, Rs 0.46 crores on 3rd Tuesday & Rs 0.39 crores on 3rd Wednesday. On the next day i.e. 3rd Thursday, it scored Rs 0.16 crores and raised 3 weeks dubs total collection to Rs 58.82 crores.
