Jawan box office collection day 12: King Khan’s latest release, Jawan, which opened in theaters over two weeks ago, is unstoppable at the box office. And it is expected to continue its mammoth run because of next to no competition from other films like Sukhee and The Great Indian Family.
Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathu, the Hindi-action drama was released amid the high excitement of fans and expectedly took a superb opening. In the first week, it had raked the business of Rs 347.98 crores that included Rs 252.08 crores in the weekend & Rs 95.90 crores on weekdays from 5500 screens.
Then in the second weekend as well, Jawan had maintained the rock-solid pace and did the business of Rs 82.46 crores with 18.10 crores on Friday, Rs 30.10 crores on Saturday & Rs 34.26 crores on Sunday. Now the film has entered on weekdays once again and still has a very good hold over the multiplex audience.
On 2nd Monday, Red Chillies Entertainment production has witnessed a drop and minted the amount of Rs 14.25 crores. After 12 days, its total collection has become Rs 444.69 crores nett at the domestic box office.
While from Tamil and Telugu versions has earned Rs 43.35 crores in the first week. Then in the second weekend as well, Jawan did the business of Rs 6.20 crores with Rs 1 crores on Friday, Rs 2.20 crores on Saturday & Rs 3 crores on Sunday. On 2nd Monday, despite a usual drop in footfalls, the film has managed to collect Rs 2 crores and raised its 12 days total collection to Rs 51.55 crores.
