Jawan box office collection day 1: Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s Jawan has created history on its first day of release. The film has released across 9000+ screens across the globe.
Jawan reported terrific advance bookings and opened on a solid note on Thursday morning with more than 50% occupancy across the country.
Post-noon shows, SRK’s film witnessed a good jump and registered a whopping opening total of Rs 75 crores which included Rs 65.50 crores from Hindi version, Rs 9.50 from Telugu and Tamil versions.
With this, Red Chillies Entertainmet’s production Jawan has surpassed the opening numbers of Pathaan – Rs 55 cr, KGF 2 – Rs 53.95 cr, War – Rs 51.60 cr and Thugs Of Hindostan – Rs 50.75 cr (Hindi version). The movies also features, alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (billed as a special appearance), Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra.
The film released yesterday (September 7), witnessed audiences in huge numbers at theatres for early morning shows. Across India, the fans were spotted celebrating the release by bursting crackers and dancing to the dhol beats.
