Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Alaya F starrer Jawaani Jaaneman had passed the opening weekend at a decent note and then remained steady on weekdays. While, Street Dancer 3D got slowed at the box office due to the new releases and passed its second week at an average note.
Pooja Entertainemnt’s production Jawaani Jaaneman had started the journey at an ordinary note but picked up well over the weekend. In the first 3 days, it had raked the business of 12.83 crores that included 3.24 crores on Friday, 4.55 crores on Saturday & 5.04 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, despite a significant drop in footfalls, Nitin Kakkar’s directorial had managed to collect 2.03 crores on Monday, 1.94 crores on Tuesday & 1.86 crores on Wednesday. On the next day i.e. Thursday, it has minted 1.55 crores and raised one week total collection to 20.21 crores nett at the domestic box office.
On the othe hand, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi starrer Street Dancer 3D took a good start on the opening day but still remained under-performed throughout the first week and did the business of 56.77 crores that included 41.23 crores in the weekend & 15.54 crores on weekdays.
Then in the second weekend, it managed to rake the business of 9.32 crores with 2.01 crores on Friday, 3.40 crores on Saturday & 3.91 crores on Sunday. Then on weekdays, it managed to collect 1.52 crore on Monday, 1.35 crore on Tuesday, 1.25 crore on Wednesday & 1.15 crore on Thursday. After 14 days, its total collection has become 71.36 crores nett at the domestic box office.
