Janhvi Kapoor is all set to surprise the audiences with her two distinct performances in ‘Homebound’ & ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’. After showcasing her versatility in Param Sundari, she is set to demonstrate her range in these two films. While Sunny Sanskari KI Tulsi Kumari is making noise with her songs and the trailer, her ‘Homebound’ is already winning accolades globally. After winning praises at TIFF, the film heads to the 98th Academy Awards as an official entry in the Best International Feature Film category.
Reflecting on the same, Janhvi Kapoor penned a heartfelt note on social media, which says, “Every part of this film has been nothing short of a dream. The journey, the people, what this story means, and how personal it’s been for everyone in our team. At every step I have been thankful I could witness this journey, which in my mind was truly the reward in itself.”

Talking about Homebound, the film directed by Neeraj Ghaywan stars Janhvi Kapoor alongside Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa. Backed by Karan Johar and Adar Poonawalla under Dharma Productions, the project also has Hollywood legend Martin Scorsese on board as executive producer. The film is slated to hit cinemas on September 26.
Meanwhile, Janhvi will next be seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, her second collaboration with Varun Dhawan. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the romantic entertainer is scheduled for release on October 2, 2025.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in Homebound, which is already winning accolades at the International Film Festival, and she also has Peddi in the lineup, which pairs her alongside Ram Charan.
