Jailer 8th day box office collection: Superstar Rajnikanth starrer action-drama Jailer is on fire. Within its extended first week itself, the Nelson’s directorial has crossed Rs 165 mark at the Tamil Nadu box office.
With a positive word of mouth, it did the business of Rs 107.13 crores which included Rs 29.46 crores on Thursday, Rs 20.25 crores on Friday, Rs 26.38 crores on Saturday & 31.04 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays also, Sun Pictures’ production has remained steady and collected the amount of Rs 15.70 crore on Monday, Rs 24.85 crore on Tuesday & Rs 11.34 crore on Wednesday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Thursday, Rajinikanth starrer scored Rs 6.29 crore and raised its extended one week total collection to 165.31 crores at the Tamil Nadu box office.
According to Trade Analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Jailer has earned Rs 450.80 crore At the worldwide box office including Rs 95.78 cr on Thursday, Rs 56.24 cr on Friday, Rs 68.51 cr on Saturday, Rs 82.36 cr on Sunday, Rs 49.03 cr on Monday, Rs 64.27 cr on Tuesday, Rs 34.61 cr on Wednesday.
Owing to the film’s success, Nelson in an interview confirmed the film would have sequel titled Jailer 2.
