Jailer box office collection day 6: Superstar Rajinikanth to break records and he will never disappoint. His latest release Jailer is making headlines and for all the right reasons.
Directed by Nelson, Jailer has received positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. It opened on an earth-shattering note in Tamil Nadu and by remaining super-strong throughout the opening weekend, it did the business of Rs 107.13 crores which included Rs 29.46 crores on Thursday, Rs 20.25 crores on Friday, Rs 26.38 crores on Saturday & 31.04 crores on Sunday.
Sun Pictures’ production is now running on weekdays and still getting an excellent response. On Monday, it raked the business of Rs 15.70 crores. While on Tuesday, it managed to collect Rs 24.85 crores and raised 6 days total collection to Rs 147.68 crores at the Tamil Nadu box office.
The film also features Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan and Vasanth Ravi in lead roles. Jackie Shroff appeared in explosive cameo roles in the film.
Prominent personalities from the Southern Indian film fraternity, including the seasoned Malayalam actor Mohanlal and Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar, contribute extended cameo appearances to the film.
