Jailer box office collection day 4: The much-awaited Tamil movie of the year, Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Jailer took a solid start in Tamil Nadu and remained strong throughout the opening weekend.
Directed by Nelson, Jailer was released a day earlier on Thursday and took a superb start in the morning. Throughout the day, it had remained strong and registered the business of Rs 29.46 cr from Tamil Nadu.
On Friday, it faced a significant drop in footfalls but still managed to remain strong and collected Rs 20.25 crores. While on Saturday, with a solid jump, the film minted Rs 26.38 crores.
On the next day i.e. Sunday, it managed to collect Rs 31.04 crores and raised its 4 days total collection to 107.13 crores at the TN box office.
‘Jailer’ is a multi-starrer and the cast includes Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Vinakayakan, Tamannah Bhatia, Vasanth Ravi and Mirnaa in important roles.
