Jailer box office collection day 14: Thailaivar Rajinikanth’s latest offering, Jailer, has proven to be yet another blockbuster. Today, the film has crossed Rs 200 crore-mark at the Tamil Nadu box office.
Nelson’s directorial co-starring Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan and others, the action drama had raked a solid business of Rs 165.31 crores in the extended first week.
Then in the second weekend also, it had maintained a strong pace and bagged the amount of Rs 25.42 crores included Rs 5.60 crore on Friday, Rs 9.47 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.35 crore on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, at a steady note, it managed to score Rs 4.06 crores on Monday, Rs 3.82 crores on Tuesday, and Rs 3.28 crores on Wednesday. After 14 days, the total collection of the film has become Rs 201.85 crores nett.
Jailer movie revolves around retired jailer Muthuvel Pandian, who tries to save his son from a criminal who steals ancient artefacts from Hindu temples. The film released on August 10, and has been dubbed in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu.
