Jailer box office collection day 11: Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer managed to pull the audience back in the second week. The film hit the theatres on the occasion of Independence Day 2023.
Produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer has created a good impact on viewers and gathered a positive word of mouth. In the extended first week, it had raked the business of Rs 165.31 crores that included Rs 107.13 crores in the weekend and Rs 58.18 crores on weekdays.
The action-thriller is now running in the second week and had started the weekend at a steady note by collecting Rs 5.60 crores on Friday. With a good jump on Saturday, it had bagged Rs 9.47 crores. Then on Sunday, the film has managed to collect Rs 10.35 crores and raised 10 days total collection to Rs 190.73 crores at the Tamil Nadu box office.
The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, also features Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles.
Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff also appear in Jailer. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
