Jailer box office collection day 1: Superstar Rajinikanth is back with black comedy-action drama, titled Jailer. The film, which released on Thursday, has taken a power-packed start at the box office.
Produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer has got succeed to convince many critics and received positive reviews. From the audience also, the film is getting a solid response across the Tamil state as well as in the International market.
Amid the great excitement of fans, the action-thriller took a phenomenal start in the morning and remained terrific throughout. As per the report, the film has grossed the record number of Rs 37.60 crores on Thursday from Tamil Nadu.
From its dubbed version has scored around Rs 10.75 crores gross in India and raised its opening day total collection to Rs 48.35 crores gross including all the versions.
Directed by Nelson, the film also features Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Vasanth Ravi. Mohanlal makes a cameo appearance.
