Jaat 2nd day box office collection: Sunny Deol’s much-anticipated return to the big screen with Jaat has been met with a resounding response from the audience. Released on Thursday, April 10, the film made a decent start at the box office.
The film opened with a strong collection of Rs 9.50 crore on Day 1, marking an impressive return for Deol, especially in mass circuits and single screens. While it didn’t quite match the mammoth Rs 40.1 crore opening of Gadar 2, Jaat has carved out its own successful path.
On Day 2 (Friday), Jaat continued to perform decently and earned Rs 7 crore, bringing its two-day total to Rs 16.62 crore in India. The film has shown a consistent hold, which bodes well for its long-term run at the box office.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat features Randeep Hooda as the menacing antagonist Ranatunga. The ensemble cast includes Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, Babloo Prithiveeraj, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.
