Ikkis 2nd day box office collection: Sriram Raghavan’s biographical war drama Ikkis witnessed a noticeable drop in collections on its second day at the box office but maintained a respectable overall performance. The film earned approximately Rs 4.02 crore on Day 2, taking its two-day total to Rs 11.30 crore at the Indian box office.

Ikkis Box Office Collection Day 2: Agastya Nanda's War Drama Drops on Friday!

After opening to a strong Rs 7.28 crore on Day 1, the film saw the usual post-holiday dip on January 2, following its New Year’s Day release. Despite the decline, the numbers indicate steady audience interest, especially considering the film’s serious subject matter and war-drama genre.

Ikkis is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, a Param Vir Chakra awardee who attained martyrdom at the age of 21 during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 India–Pakistan War. The emotionally intense narrative and realistic portrayal of war have been praised by critics and a section of the audience.

The film marks the theatrical debut of Agastya Nanda and also features Dharmendra and Asrani in their final film appearances, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Simar Bhatia. Performances, particularly Jaideep Ahlawat’s, have received strong appreciation, helping the film maintain momentum beyond its opening day.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Binny Padda, Ikkis was originally scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release but was postponed to 1 January 2026, a move that benefited its opening-day numbers due to the New Year holiday.

With the weekend ahead, trade analysts expect Ikkis to stabilize and possibly show growth if word of mouth continues to remain positive, especially in urban centers and multiplexes.
