Housefull 5 Teaser Taken Down From YouTube Due to Copyright Dispute!

In a surprising turn of events, the teaser for the much-anticipated Bollywood comedy Housefull 5 has been removed from YouTube following a copyright claim. Housefull 5 Teaser Taken Down From YouTube Due to Copyright Dispute!

While the specifics of the copyright issue remain undisclosed, industry insiders suggest that the dispute could involve either music licensing or unauthorized use of protected footage. Such takedowns are not uncommon in the digital age, but the timing has raised eyebrows, especially with the film’s theatrical release slated for June 6, 2025.

However, by the morning of May 9, it was no longer on YouTube. Upon going to the page, an error message said, “The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Mofusion Studios.”

It is unclear what the copyright strike from Mofusion Studios is about. Mofusion is an India-based record label that produces songs by artists like Diljit Dosanjh and Jasmine Sandlas, among others. HT reached out to Mofusion for clarification on the copyright claim but has yet to receive a response.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 brings together an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, and several other fan-favorites from previous installments.
