Ever since Sajid Nadiadwala announced the fifth instalment to the 2010 film Housefull, fans have been eagerly waiting to know more about it. The announcement mentioned the return of Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.
The rest of the cast has yet not been formally announced. Amid speculations around the casting of the film, the makers have made a formal announcement regarding the same.
The official statement released by Nadiadwala Grandsons, “There are many speculations doing rounds about the star cast in ‘Housefull 5’, we kindly request media houses to please refrain from making any premature announcements at this stage”.
Akshay and Ritiesh have remained a constant in the Housefull movies. The first and second parts were directed by Sajid Khan, the third by Sajid-Farhad and the fourth by only Farhad Samji.
Housefull 5 will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandsons. It will release in theatres around Diwali next year.
