Housefull 5 box office collection day 1: The Housefull franchise has returned with a bang, as Housefull 5 storms into theaters with a strong opening. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 features a stellar lineup including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and others.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the Hindi comedy has received positive reviews from critics, but audience reactions have been mixed — which, of course, is not a good sign.
On Friday, Housefull 5 was opened at a decent note of 25-30% in the morning, which is actually good as the pre-Eid festivities have already started and many are busy in that. Post noon shows, the film didn’t witness an impressive growth due to the mixed word of mouth and raked the business of Rs 24.35 crores nett from 5000 screens nationwide.
The film boasts an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chunky Pandey, and Johnny Lever.
However, there is a twist. The film has introduced multiple endings to Bollywood. At the movie theatres, the audience will have the option to choose between Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B during ticket booking. Both endings will have different killers.
