The makers of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film OMG 2 have released a new song today. Har Har Mahadev begins with an army of Shiva devotees, both men and women, dressed in traditional attire and with ash smeared on their faces performing Shiva’s Tandava dance.
The song is set in a grand backdrop of a seemingly Shivratri celebration, where hundreds of Shiv devotees are lost in the devotion of Lord Shiva, grooving to the trippy beats of the Lord. The celebration happens in the presence of Lord Shiva aka Akshay who is relishing the devotion of his devotees and joins them in the celebrations.
What follows is an impressive dance performance by Kumar and a glimpse of Pankaj Tripathi. In the midst of devotees, Lord Shiva unleashes his Tandav and celebrates their devotion.
Vikram Montrose sang and composed the song, which was written by Shekhar Astitwa.
OMG 2 is directed by Amit Rai and stars Yami Gautam as a lawyer. It will be released in theatres alongside Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s Gadar 2 on August 11. The film is a sequel to OMG: Oh My God, which starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. In the film, Akshay played the role of Lord Krishna.
