Following the blockbuster success of HanuMan, director Prasanth Varma who is introducing Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son Mokshagnya, announced third film from PVCU (Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe) is going to be Mahakali.
Taking the announcement to social media, Prasanth Varma wrote, “Breaking stereotypes this Navratri 🙏🏻@rkdstudios and @thepvcu proudly present the most FEROCIOUS SUPERHERO in the universe, the true embodiment of Goddess Kali, the destroyer of evil 🔥From the universe of #HanuMan ❤️🔥, prepare for the rise of ~ #MAHAKALI.”
The announcement has made it clear that Mahakali will be a female-orientated superhero film that will present a woman fighting demons. She will join hands with Hanumanthu in the ultimate battle against evil.
Prasanth Varma conceived the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe with the 2024 film Hanu-Man, which was rigged on a budget of Rs 40 crore and collected Rs 350 crore at the worldwide box office.
He already has Adhira and Hanu-Man 2 in the pipeline, which will continue the ‘good vs evil’ saga.
