After a solid start at the box office, Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram has passed the opening weekend at an almost decent note. On Friday, it had raked the opening business of Rs 41.30 crores.
Over the weekend, Guntur Kaaram has witnessed a big drop in footfalls and managed to collect Rs 13.55 crores on Saturday & Rs 14.25 crores* on Sunday. After 3 days, the total collection has become Rs 69.10 crores* nett at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, Dhanush starrer Captain Miller has received mixed reviews and had raked the business of Rs 8.70 crores on Friday. With a usual drop, it managed to bag Rs 7.45 crores on Saturday & Rs 7.25 crores*. In the opening weekend, it has garnered the business of Rs 23.40 crores at Indian box office.
In parallel, the superhero film of Teja Sajja’s Hanu-Man has got succeed to entertain the audience. In the opening weekend, it has done the business of Rs 36.50 crores nett across India that included Rs 8.05 crore on Friday, Rs 12.45 crore on Saturday & Rs 16 crore on Sunday.
While, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christma has registered a decent weekend of Rs 9.70 crore* nett including Rs 2.30 crore on Friday, Rs 3.40 crore on Saturday, and Rs 4 crore* on Sunday.
