Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram has expectedly started its journey at a solid note with a positive word of mouth. After an excellent opening, the latest Telugu offering, Guntur Kaaram, has shown big drop on day-2.
On Friday, Guntur Kaaram was opened at a solid note with around 74% of occupancy in the morning. Post noon shows, it had witnessed a good growth and did the business of Rs 41.30 crores. On Saturday, it has recorded a big drop and minted the amount of Rs 13.55 crores. After 2 days, the total collection of Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial has become Rs 54.85 crores nett.
In parallel, Dhanush starrer Captain Miller is decent at the box office. On Friday, the did the business of Rs 8.70 crore, while on Saturday, it has bagged Rs 7.45 crore. With this, its 2 days total collection has become Rs 16.15 crores.
The adjacent superhero film HanuMan had registered the opening business of only Rs 8.05 crore (Rs 2.10 crores from Hindi) on Friday. On the next day i.e. Saturday, Teja Sajja starrer took a good jump and minted Rs 12.45 crore. After 2 days, its total collection has become Rs 20.50 crores nett.
On the other hand, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christmas is struggling at the box office. On Friday, the Hindi neo-noir mystery thriller film did the business of Rs 2.30 crore, while on Saturday, it has bagged Rs 3.40 crore. With this, its 2 days total collection has become Rs 5.70 crores.
