This Friday, three new South films—Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Dhanush’s Captain Miller, and Teja Sajja’s Hanuman—started on a good note.
On Friday, Guntur Kaaram had started its journey at a solid note in the morning with more than 74% occupancy and remained super strong throughout the day. As the result, it bagged the amount of Rs 41.30 crores nett at the domestic box office.
In parllel, Dhanush starrer has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience and as a result, Captain Miller opened on a decent note.
On the first day, it opened with an occupancy of 41% and minted the amount of Rs 8.70 crore at the box office.
Teja Sajja’s superhero film Hanu-Man has acquired the third position among all the new releases and received positive reviews. With an overall 74% of occupancy, it has done the business of Rs 8.05 crore on the opening day across India.
