The much-loved musical combination of Emraan Hashmi and Himesh Reshammiya is back with a new romantic melody. The first song from the upcoming action-romance Gunmaaster G9, titled ‘Afsaana Banaaya Aapne’, has now been released, bringing Himesh Reshammiya’s signature musical style to the film’s soundtrack.
Featuring Emraan Hashmi and Genelia Deshmukh, the song marks another collaboration between Emraan and Himesh, a combination previously associated with popular Bollywood tracks. Their reunion has once again created excitement among music and film audiences.
Himesh Reshammiya has composed and penned the track, while also lending his voice to the song. The romantic number adds a melodic dimension to Gunmaaster G9, which combines action, romance and music.
Directed by Aditya Datt, the film also features Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Singh, Avneet Kaur, Snehill Mehra and Inayat Verma, among others.
The film is produced by Deepak Mukut, Sangeeta Ahir and Hunar Mukut, with Shirish Vallicha serving as co-producer.
With ‘Afsaana Banaaya Aapne’ now setting the musical tone, anticipation builds for the arrival of Gunmaaster G9, which is scheduled to release in cinemas on 27 November 2026.
