Actor Sharman Joshi has officially wrapped up shooting for Golmaal 5, marking his return to Rohit Shetty’s popular comedy franchise. The actor, who is reprising his much-loved character Laxman, expressed his happiness at being back in the Golmaal universe and working with Ajay Devgn once again.
Talking about his experience of reuniting with Devgn, Sharman said, “Ajay sir ke saath Golmaal mein kaam karna mere liye bahut hi khoobsurat opportunity rahi hai, jo mujhe dobara mili hai. Maine is journey ko bahut enjoy kiya hai.” He described the reunion as a beautiful opportunity and said he thoroughly enjoyed the journey.
The actor also confirmed that while filming has now been completed, work on the film continues behind the scenes. “Humne film ki shooting complete kar li hai aur post-production ka kaam bhi chal raha hai. Bahut jald hum yeh film aap sabke saamne lekar aayenge,” Sharman said.
The fifth instalment of the Golmaal franchise is directed by Rohit Shetty and brings together a familiar ensemble led by Ajay Devgn. The cast includes Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Sharman Joshi and Akshay Kumar.
For fans of the franchise, Sharman’s return adds another dose of nostalgia to the upcoming comedy. With filming now wrapped and post-production underway, anticipation is building to see the gang return to the big screen with another round of chaos, comedy and camaraderie.
