Ganapath, Yaariyan 2 & Tiger Nageswara Rao box office collection day 1: The new Hindi offerings of this Friday- Ganapath and Yaariyan 2 have taken a poor start at the box office. While, the Pan-India film Tiger Nageswar Rao has expectedly taken a good opening.
Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Ganapath has got failed to convince all the critics and received mixed reviews. At the box office, it was opened at a dull note with around 10% occupancy in the morning and eventually registered the opening business of Rs 2.50 crores after a slight jump in footfalls post noon shows in metros.
In parallel, Divya Khosla Kumar, Meezaan Jafri and Pearl V Puri starrer coming-of-age romantic drama Yaariyan 2 has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as audience.
On Friday, Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru’s directorial started its journey at a slow note with only 5-6% occupancy in the morning. Post noon shows as well, it didn’t get a considerable response from the audience and minted the amount of only Rs 1.20 crore nett at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, the much-buzzed Ravi Teja’s Pan-India release Tiger Nageswara Rao has taken a good start at the box office. On Friday, Ravi Teja starrer started the journey with an occupancy of 45% in the morning and picked up well post noon shows. In the end, it has done the business of Rs 6.55 crores at the domestic box office.
