Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 9: Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s OMG continue to rake in numbers at the box office.
At a phenomenal note, Anil Sharma’s directorial had raked the business of Rs 284.63 crores in the opening week that included Rs 134.88 crores in the opening weekend and Rs 149.75 crores on weekdays.
On 2nd Friday, Zee Studios, Anil Sharma Productions and MM Movies’ production showed little drop and did the business of Rs 20.50 crores. On the next day i.e. 2nd Saturday, it took a healthy jump and bagged the amount of Rs 31.07 crores. With this, its 9 days total collection has become Rs 336.20 crores nett at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, Amit Rai’s directorial OMG 2 had registered a solid opening week despite a clash and has started the second week at a steady note. In a week, it did the business of Rs 85.05 crores that included Rs 43.11 crores in the weekend and Rs 41.94 crores on weekdays.
On 2nd Friday, Viacom 18’s production had recorded slight growth and minted Rs 6.03 crores. While on 2nd Saturday, with a good jump in footfalls, OMG 2 has garnered the business of Rs 10.53 crores and raised its 10 days total domestic collection to 101.61 crores.
