Gadar 2 and OMG 2 6th day box office collection: Anil Sharma’s directorial ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues’ which stars Sunny Deol in the lead role has continued in its strong on Wednesday. While, on the other hand, OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar is also doing solid business at the box office.
The most-awaited sequel of Bollywood took a phenomenal start at the box office and did a business of Rs 134.88 crores at the opening weekend which included Rs 40.10 crores on Friday, Rs 43.08 crores on Saturday & Rs 51.70 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays, Zee Studios’ presentation’s has bagged an amount of Rs 38.70 crores on Monday and Rs 55.40 crores on Tuesday (due to Independence day holiday). On the next day i.e Wednesday, the film remains super-strong and garnered a business of Rs 32.37 crores. With this 6-day total of Rs 261.35 crores at the domestic box office.
In parallel, Akshay Kumar’s latest offering OMG 2 is heading towards 100-crore in India. On a fantastic note, it did a business of Rs 43.11 crores with Rs 10.26 crores on Friday, Rs 15.30 crores on Saturday & Rs 17.55 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays, it had garnered the business of Rs 12.06 crores on Monday and Rs 17.10 crores on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Amit Rai’s directorial has managed to collect Rs 7.20 crores and raised 6 days total collection to Rs 79.47 crores nett.
