Gadar 2 And OMG 2 box office collection day 5: Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharam is ruling at the domestic box office across the country. On the other hand, OMG 2 starring Akshay, Pankaj Tripathi & Yami Gautam is doing decent at the box office.
Anil Sharma’s directorial Gadar 2 had raked a phenomenal business of Rs 134.88 crores in the opening weekend that included Rs 40.10 crores on Friday, Rs 43.08 crores on Saturday & Rs 51.70 crores on Sunday.
Zee Studios’ presentation is now running on weekdays and still has a super-solid hold over the audience. On Monday, it remained solid and minted Rs 38.70 crores. On Tuesday, due to Independence day holiday, the film has bagged Rs 55.40 crores and raised its 6 days total collection to Rs 228.98 crores nett.
On the other hand, the adjacent Hindi release OMG 2 had also performed solid in the weekend and did the business of Rs 43.11 crores with Rs 10.26 crores on Friday, Rs 15.30 crores on Saturday & Rs 17.55 crores on Sunday.
Amit Rai’s directorial is now running on weekdays and had garnered the business of Rs 12.06 crores on Monday. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios & Wakaoo Films’ production has managed to collect Rs 17.10 crores and raised 6 days total collection to Rs 72.27 crores nett.
