Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 29: Sunny Deol’s Hindi period action drama has completed its fourth week and the film has continued to remain steady in last few days as well.
Directed by Anil Sharma, a sequel to the iconic Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), Gadar 2 did the business of Rs 284.63 in the first week, Rs 134.47 crores in the second, Rs 63.35 crores in the third week & Rs 27.55 crores in the fourth week.
Now, Zee Studios’ presentation has entered in the fifth weekend and due to the new Hindi release Jawan, Gadar 2 has slowed down. On 5th Friday, Gadar 2 has minted the amount of 1.03 crore and raised its 29 days total collection to 511.03 crores nett at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, superstar Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 has now entered the 5th week at a very slow note. It had raked the business of Rs 85.05 crores in the first, Rs 41.37 crores in the second, Rs 15.40 crores in the third & Rs 7.10 crores in the fourth week.
After 4 weeks, the total collection of the film was recorded at Rs 148.92 crores nett. The film now has several more opponents and managed to collect the amount of Rs 0.12 crore* on 5th Friday. After 29 days, its total collection has become Rs 149.04 crores* nett at the domestic box office.
