Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 27: Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 is maintaining its pace at the box office even on the 27th day of its release. While in parallel, OMG 2 is slow down in its fourth week.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Hindi period action drama did an excellent business of Rs 482.45 crores with Rs 284.63 crores in the first, Rs 134.47 crores in the second and Rs 63.35 crores in the third week. In the fourth weekend, it had raked Rs 18.72 crores which included Rs 5.20 crore on Friday, Rs 5.72 crore on Saturday & Rs 7.80 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays, it remains steady and did the business of Rs 2.50 crore on Monday and Rs 2.55 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Wednesday, the movie showed slight growth and managed to collect Rs 2.75 crores and raised 27 days total collection to Rs 508.92 crores at domestic box office.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2 did the business of Rs 85.05 crores in the first, Rs 41.37 crores in the second and Rs 15.40 crores in the third week. In the fourth weekend, it had scored 4.23 crores with Rs 1.10 crore on Friday, Rs 1.60 crore on Saturday & Rs 2.20 crores on Sunday.
On 4th Monday, Amit Rai’s directorial had witnessed a slight decline and minted Rs 0.75 crore, while on 4th Tuesday, it took a jump and bagged Rs 0.65 crore. By getting dropped again, the movie managed to collect Rs 0.60 crore on 4th Wednesday and raised its 27 days total collection to Rs 148.72 crores nett at the domestic box office.
