Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 26: Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 has maintained a steady pace at the box office in its fourth week despite having the two week back released Dream Girl 2 in the opposite.
Anil Sharma’s directorial, Gadar 2 has impressed everyone in theatres and gathered a positive reaction. As a result, it did the business of Rs 482.45 crores with Rs 284.63 crores in the first, Rs 134.47 crores in the second and Rs 63.35 crores in the third week. In the 4th weekend, Hindi period drama registered the business of Rs 18.72 crores which included Rs 5.20 crore on Friday, Rs 5.72 crore on Saturday & Rs 7.80 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays, as well, it is heading steadily and did the business of Rs 2.40 crores on 4th Monday. On the next day i.e. 4th Tuesday, Gadar 2 minted the amount of Rs 2.50 crore and raised 26 days total collection to Rs 506.17 crores at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer is running in its 4th week and got slowed down. In the 4th weekend, it did the business of Rs 4.90 crores which included Rs 1.10 crores on Friday, Rs 1.60 crores on Saturday & Rs 2.20 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, Amit Rai’s directorial recorded a significant drop in footfalls and minted the amount of Rs 0.75 crore on 4th Monday. On the next day i.e 4th Tuesday, OMG 2 got similar response and raked the business of Rs 0.65 crore and raised its 26 days total collection to Rs 148.12 crores including the business of Rs 141.82 crores from last 3 weeks.
