Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 24: A new day, a new box office record broken by Gadar. Sunny Deol’s film made over Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office at the end of day 24.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer is winning hearts across the country. In the last 3 weeks, it did the business of Rs 482.45 crores with Rs 284.63 crores in the first, Rs 134.47 crores in the second and Rs 63.35 crores in the third week at the domestic box office.
Gadar 2 was entered in the fourth weekend on a solid note and minted Rs 5.20 crores on Friday. Witnessing a good growth over Saturday & Sunday, the film bagged the amount of Rs 5.72 crores & Rs 7.80 crores respectively. With this, its 24 days total collection has become Rs 501.17 crores nett.
In parallel, Akshay Kumar starrer much-anticipated OMG 2 has also maintained a steady pace and passed its fourth weekend. It did the business of Rs 1.10 crore on Friday and Rs 1.60 crore on Saturday respectively.
Then on the next day, Sunday, OMG 2 has raked Rs 2.20 crores* and raised its 10 days total domestic collection to Rs 146.72 crores* which included Rs 85.05 crores in the first week, Rs 41.37 crores in the second & Rs 15.40 crores in the third week.
