Gadar 2 and OMG 2 day 21 box office collection: Anil’s directorial venture, Gadar 2, continues to impress each day at the box office. Even after 21 days of its release, the Hindi period-action drama has managed to hold its own at the box office.
Gadar 2 have passed the last two weeks on a tremendous note and registered the phenomenal business of Rs 419.10 crores which included Rs 284.63 crores in the opening week and Rs 134.47 crores in the second week. In the third weekend as well, it had maintained the solid pace and raked Rs 36.95 crores with Rs 7.10 crores on Friday, Rs 13.75 crores on Saturday & Rs 16.10 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, Zee Studios, Anil Sharma Productions and MM Movies’ production had recorded a usual drop but still remained rock-steady and minted the amount of Rs 4.60 crores on 3rd Monday, Rs 5.10 crores on 3rd Tuesday & Rs 8.60 crore on 3rd Wednesday (Raksha Bandhan Holiday). On the next day i.e. 4th Thursday as it was released a day earlier, the film has bagged Rs 8.10 crore and raised 3 weeks total collection to Rs 482.45 crores at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, Amit Rai’s directorial OMG 2 had garnered the business of Rs 85.05 crores in the opening week at an excellent note. In the second week also, it had remained steady and garnered Rs 41.37 crores. In the third weekend, after a significant slowdown, it had collected Rs 9.50 crores with Rs 2 crore on Friday, Rs 3.50 crore on Saturday & Rs 4 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios & Wakaoo Films’ production had witnessed a usual drop and minted Rs 1.20 crore on 3rd Monday, Rs 1.30 crore on 3rd Tuesday & 1.75 crore on 3rd Wednesday. With further dip, it has collected 1.65 crore on 4th Thursday and raised 21 days total collection to Rs 141.82 crores nett.
