Gadar 2 And OMG 2 box office collection day 2: After a flying start opening on Friday, Sunny Deol’s much-anticipated Gadar 2 has remained strong on Saturday. While the adjacent release Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 has got a solid response on the second day after a decent start.
On Friday, Anil Sharma’s directorial took a terrific start and had registered the second biggest opening of the year with Rs 40.10 crores. On Friday, with a normal growth, it has raked the business of Rs 43.08 crores and raised its 2 days total collection to Rs 83.18 crores at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, OMG 2 had started the journey at a slow note in the morning but showed required growth post noon shows and did the business of Rs 10.26 crores. On the next day i.e. Saturday, the film has recorded a good growth and bagged the amount of Rs 15.30 crores. With this, its 2 days total domestic collection has become Rs 25.56 crores nett.
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 has made a grand return to the silver screen after 22 years. While OMG 2 is a sequel to Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar-starrer Oh my God.
There is Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ which is still running in theatres. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the film released on July 28.
