Gadar 2 and OMG 2 day 19 box office collection: Sunny Deol starrer much-anticipated Gadar 2 is not showing any signs of going down as the movie continues to hold on rock-steady even in its third week.
Anil Sharma’s directorial, the Hindi period action drama had raked the business of Rs 284.63 crores in the opening week. In the second week as well, it had remained strong and did the business of Rs 134.47 crores. Then in the third weekend as well, it had maintained the pace and raked Rs 36.95 crores with Rs 7.10 crores on Friday, Rs 13.75 crores on Saturday & Rs 16.10 crores on Sunday.
Now Gadar 2 has entered on weekdays, on 3rd Monday it faced a significant drop and minted Rs 4.60 crores. On the next day i.e. 3rd Tuesday, it had bagged the amount of Rs 5.10 crores and raised 19 days total collection to Rs 465.75 crores nett.
On the other hand, Amit Rai’s directorial OMG 2 had bagged the amount of Rs 85.05 crores in the opening week at an excellent note. In the second week also, it had remained steady and garnered Rs 41.37 crores. In the third weekend, after a significant slowdown, it had collected Rs 9.50 crores with Rs 2 crore on Friday, Rs 3.50 crore on Saturday & Rs 4 crores on Sunday.
On 3rd Monday, OMG 2 had garnered the business of Rs 1.20 crore. On the next day i.e. 3rd Tuesday, it has managed to collect Rs 1.30 crore and raised the 19 days total collection to Rs 138.42 crores nett at the domestic box office.
