Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 16: Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Shamra starrer Gadar 2 released in theatres on August 10th alongside Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2.
Directed by Anil Sharma, the Hindi period action drama had raked the business of Rs 284.63 crores in the opening week. In the second week as well, it had remained strong and did the business of Rs 134.47 crores.
On 3rd Friday, Gadar 2 had recorded a drop and minted Rs 7.10 crores. On the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, with a fair growth, the film has bagged the amount of Rs 13.75 crores and raised 17 days total collection to Rs 439.95 crores nett.
On the other hand, Amit Rai’s directorial OMG 2 had bagged the amount of Rs 85.05 crores in the opening week at an excellent note. In the second week also, it had remained steady and garnered Rs 41.37 crores.
On 3rd Friday, Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios & Wakaoo Films’ production had witnessed a little drop and minted the amount of Rs 2 crore. On the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, it showed a jump and cllected Rs 3.50 crore. After 16 days, the total domestic collection of OMG 2 has become Rs 131.92 crores.
