Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 15: Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2, which hit the theatres more two weeks ago, faced a drop for at the box office yesterday. The drop in collections on the third Friday due to the release of couple of new films.
Directed by Anil Sharma, the Hindi period action drama had raked the business of Rs 284.63 crores in the opening week. In the second week as well, it had remained strong and did the business of Rs 134.47 crores.
On 3rd Friday, Zee Studios, Anil Sharma Productions and MM Movies production has faced a little drop and minted Rs 7.10 crores. After 15 days, the total collection of the film has become Rs 426.20 crores nett.
In parallel, Amit Rai’s directorial OMG 2 had bagged the amount of Rs 85.05 crores in the opening week at an excellent note. In the second week also, it had remained steady and garnered Rs 41.37 crores.
On 3rd Friday, Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios & Wakaoo Films’ production has also faced a drop and minted the amount of Rs 2 crore. With this, the total collection of OMG 2 after 15 days has become Rs 128.42 crores nett.
