Gadar 2 and OMG 2 box office collection day 12: Riding high on its success at the box office, Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has finally crossed Rs 400 crore mark at the domestic box office. While, Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 is maintaining its steady run on the weekdays.
Gadar 2 had raked a phenomenal business of Rs 284.63 crores in the first week with Rs 134.88 crores in the first weekend and Rs 149.75 crores on weekdays. Then in the second weekend as well, Anil Sharma’s directorial had remained strong and did the business of Rs 90.47 crores that included Rs 20.50 crores on Friday, Rs 31.07 crores on Saturday & Rs 38.90 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays, the film had recorded a usual drop and managed to collect Rs 13.50 crores on 2nd Monday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Tuesday, with a little drop, Gadar 2 has bagged the amount of Rs 12.10 crores and raised its 12 days total domestic collection to Rs 400.70 crores at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’ had raked the business of Rs 85.05 crores in the first week that included Rs 43.11 crores in the weekend and Rs 41.94 crores on weekdays. Then in the second weekend, Amit Rai’s directorial had collected Rs 28.62 crores with Rs 6.03 crores on Friday, Rs 10.53 crores on Saturday & Rs 12.06 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, the film had faced a significant drop and minted Rs 3.70 crores on 2nd Monday & Rs 3.20 crores on 2nd Tuesday. After 12 days, its total collection has become Rs 120.62 crores nett.
