Gadar 2 And OMG 2 box office collection day 1: The much-awaited Hindi offering of Sunny Deol, Gadar 2 is finally in theatres now and expectedly taken a bumper start at the box office. While the adjacent release Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 has managed to register a decent opening.
Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma starrer Gadar 2: The Katha Continues has got succeed to entertain many in theatres and gathered mostly positive reviews from critics.
On the opening day, Anil Sharma’s directorial was opened at a terrific note with around 37% occupancy in the morning. Post noon shows, Zee Studios, Anil Sharma Productions and MM Movies’ production witnessed a significant jump and raked the business of Rs 40.10 crores nett at the domestic box office.
In the parallel, Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios and Wakaoo Films’ production OMG 2 has got succeed to convince critics and received mostly positive reviews. But still, the satirical comedy-drama has not attracted the desired footfall towards itself.
On Friday, Amit Rai’s directorial took an average start of around 18% occupancy in the morning. Over the evening & night shows, the film showed significant growth and managed to collect the amount of Rs 10.26 crores at the domestic box office.
